Elena is a Mexican-American artist, illustrator and musician based in Chicago, Illinois.

 

Through folkloric borders and cuteness, she creates work about gendered perceptions and bodily dissociation.

When she's not creating art, you can find her rollerskating with friends, playing music, or scrounging for hidden treasures at her local thrift stores.
